This policy is for people in US states with consumer health data laws, such as Washington (My Health My Data Act), Nevada and Connecticut. It adds to our Privacy Policy. Yolkie (“we”, “us”) is a protein and workout tracker.

Under these laws, most of what Yolkie handles is consumer health data, including the fact that you use Yolkie:

• Body data: date of birth, sex, height, weight, target weight and weigh-ins.
• Goals and habits: your goal (build muscle, lean bulk, maintain or cut), activity, training days, experience and build.
• Food: what you log, your diet, allergies, and whether you take protein powder or creatine.
• One yes or no from the health screen. We never store which condition you ticked.
• What the app works out from these: your calorie and macro targets, the reasons behind them, and your progress.

Only to provide the app you asked for: to build and update your plan, log and show your food, training and weight, run safety checks, and word your weekly reviews. Never for ads, and never to build profiles for anyone else. We ask for your consent before we collect any of it.

From you: your answers in the app and what you log. And from our own calculations on that data.

We don’t share consumer health data with third parties. Processors handle it for us, under contract, only to run the app:

• Railway: hosts our servers and database, in the EU.
• OpenAI: words weekly reviews from rounded numbers, with no name, email or account id.
• Sentry: error reports, with health data removed.

Google Firebase (sign-in, and analytics only if you agree), Expo (notifications), Resend (email), and Apple, Google and Stripe (payments) never receive your health data. If we ever wanted to share it with a third party, we would ask for your separate consent first.

We never sell consumer health data.

• Confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, and see it.
• Get a list of every third party and processor it went to, with their contact details.
• Withdraw your consent.
• Have it deleted, including by our processors and from backups. Backups expire within 89 days.

Write to social@yolkie.fit from the email address of your account, or delete your account in the app. We may ask you to confirm it’s your account. We answer within 45 days, and tell you if we need 45 more and why.

If we turn down your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer. We reply in writing within 45 days with what we did and why. If the appeal is denied, you can complain to your state’s Attorney General.
